About the Film
Ezra (2023), directed by Tony Goldwyn, is a heartfelt and often humorous film about divorced parents navigating different perspectives on raising their autistic son. Through one family’s story, the film explores acceptance, connection, and the challenges of understanding and supporting a child’s individual needs with sincerity and humor. The film is rated R for strong language and profanity.
A facilitated discussion will follow the screening, exploring how these themes inform our work with neurodivergent families in family law practice. Together, we will consider how to navigate co-parenting disagreements, recognize individual needs rather than rely on assumptions, and keep children’s voices and experiences central to decisions about their care.
Diane Reller and Rachel Osband as moderators for the event.
Agenda:
