Title: Custody Evaluations

Join us for a unique Lunch and Learn where we dive into the intricacies of custody evaluations (also referred to as parenting plan evaluations) and revolutionize your approach to working with and assessing them. Explore the depths of these evaluations alongside our esteemed panel of experts: psychologist Mindy Mitnick, Referee Holly Knight, and attorney Matt Yost.

In this engaging dialogue, you'll learn tips to effectively utilize custody evaluations, gain practical insights on the qualities of a truly impactful assessment and deepen your understanding of their application in family law cases. Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your practice and approach evaluations with newfound confidence!

Learning Objectives:

  1. Participants will be able to assess the quality of an evaluation.
  2. Participants will be able to understand what criteria are necessary for a custody evaluation to take place and who makes that decision.
  3. Participants will appreciate the differing impact of evaluations entered into by agreement and those ordered by a judicial officer.
  4. Participants will be made aware of the regional availability (or lack thereof) in custody evaluation services and understand alternative processes.
