SEPTEMBER SPOTLIGHT WEBINAR

MN Board of CLE - APPROVED

Join us for this special spotlight webinar featuring child protection professionals from across Minnesota, offering an inside look at the role and responsibilities of Child Protection Services (CPS) in family law cases. Designed specifically for family law professionals, this session will unpack CPS authority, clarify confidentiality and mandated reporting obligations in high-conflict situations, and provide actionable strategies for navigating CPS involvement. With a strong focus on culturally responsive practice, this webinar will help you better support diverse families and advocate effectively in complex cases. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear directly from the professionals who make these critical decisions. The first 90 minutes will be a workshop put on by Hennepin County Child Protection Services and the remaining hour will be a panel discussion with CPS professionals from across several counties.

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

1. Understand the Role and Authority of Child protection services.
